Catmon Integrated School

Repair of School in Altavas, Aklan and the children’s access to potable water.

In 2013 typhoon Yolanda caused havoc in the Philippines. One remote casualty was the Catmon Integrated School in Aklan.

Previously the school had built a tank for the water of the school system, but the water coming from the water of the barangay system could not reach the reservoir from school because of the low water pressure generated by multiple connections of the residents of barangay living downstream from the site of the school. A new water supply system had to be implemented to supply the new toilets, washing and cooking area.

2017 – Construction of a one-story school building with two classrooms.

Improvement of the water supply system to schools in Catmon, Altavas, and Aklan in the Philippines.
