Meet the board of Directors

WEGA operates under the guidance of a dedicated board of directors, composed of experienced professionals from various fields. This board convenes regularly to deliberate on the strategic direction of the organization, ensuring that WEGA’s activities align with its mission and values. Their collective expertise and insight drive the development of impactful and sustainable projects, shaping the future of WEGA and the communities we serve.

Our committee meeting on April 4th, 2023 led to the following role assignments:

Tarek TOUBALE

President

After leaving investment banking in 2005, Tarek joined several NGOs working in various roles and countries among others Uganda, India, and lately the Philippines. A Luxembourg resident since 2017, Tarek is serving as WEGA’s President.

Tetyana RAVLYUK

Secretary

Born in Ukraine, Tetyana is a dedicated advocate for development projects that positively impact lives. With a strong passion for sustainability and social innovation, she leverages her business experience and linguistic abilities to promote impactful initiatives globally. Her mission is to contribute to a more equitable and resilient world through her work.

Daniel DIMEN

Project manager

Daniel Dimen holds an MBA degree from the Asian Institute of Management and is an experienced finance professional with a background in multinational and fintech companies. Growing up in the Philippines, he witnessed firsthand the challenges of poverty and climate change. Daniel's deep commitment to positive change fuels his dedication to creating a better world.
